Filled with Appreciation for those Who Protect Us
I am thankful. I am grateful. I am filled with appreciation for those who protect us. Those Americans – that allow us to live free.
It was my honor to serve with the American Red Cross as a Volunteer for nine years at the National Naval Medical Center. The knowledge, skill and beauty of the doctors, dentists and allied staff were extraordinary. We had many great times together with faculty, residents and their families. We learned from each other.
We thoroughly enjoyed helping many Veterans improve the quality of their smiles, health and lives. We had retreats together, from playing darts to white water rafting. We learned together. It was very rewarding for all.
In particular, I am most appreciative for patients, families and staff at the National Naval Medical Center:
• Rear Admiral A.M. Robinson
• Captain Tracey Scott
• Captain John Mumford
• Captain David Glenn
• Ms. Lynn Costello
…and thankful for serving with many other dentists and residents from the specialty programs of Periodontics, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Pathology and Oral Surgery.
There are many great American citizens serving our country during “Operation Enduring Freedom” and I have had the privilege of serving our veterans together. I would volunteer on Fridays to help with:
• Treatment planning
• 3-D digital cone beam scans / x-rays
• Crowns, veneers, bridges
• Dentures
• Dental implants and abutments
• Complicated reconstructive surgeries • Smile makeovers • Periodontal surgery
• Plastic surgery
The heartfelt love of country and love for people is exhibited in countless ways as we graciously and willingly make service to mankind a priority in my life and those I serve with daily. Thank you!
“I have not found a better complete dental experience in more than 50 years than at Dr. Kravitz’s office. He provides total patient care – not only correction but prevention that has made a significantly positive impact in the quality of my life. My overall health has improved since going to Dr. Kravitz; I will not go to anyone else.” – John Stufflebeem, Retired US Navy Rear Admiral & White House Spokesperson, Former NFL Player
“Your dental hygienist was one of the nicest ladies I’ve met in a long time. She was patient. She was thorough. She was direct. She indicated to me that she enjoyed her career field because it gave her a way to help people. All these things combined culminated in a positive experience. Thank you so much!” – Christine, United States Military Veteran
