Occam’s Razor and Dentistry: Towards a Future of Simple, Pain-free Dentistry

William of Occam was an English Franciscan friar, theologian, philosopher, and logician who lived from 1287 to 1347 AD. He published a scientific theory related to simplicity:

“The simplest formula may be the best formula.”

This is so true!

Throughout my years of research, refinement of skills and medical breakthroughs, I have found the simplest treatments are the best treatments. What that means to you is that when we keep treatment choices and solution to the simplest formula, the better it is for you, your family, your school, your work and your leisure time. Occam’s Razor and theory of simplicity allows for less discomfort, less suffering, higher success rates, improved personal satisfaction.

Less visits. Less time. No pain. No uncomfortable swelling. No stitches. No sharp scalpels. All for your benefit and improve quality of life.

While it may cost more upfront, over your lifetime there are far less complicated treatments.

We applied this formula to dental implants, crowns, bridges, dentures, veneers and smile makeovers.

I have a brief poem related to towards a future of simple, pain-free dentistry:

Keep it simple.
Do what you know.
Know what you do.
Occam’s Razor
May be the best for you.
Do it now.

Replacing your decayed, chipped, broken, missing or infected teeth can greatly improve your quality of life today. Keep it simple.
